When Derrick & Emily first started looking for a place to open their business, they honestly had no idea where to start. Building after building, they didn't feel like they were looking in the right places. After lots of prayers, God opened the doors for a perfect spot, 501 W. Main St in Downtown Historical Denison, Texas. Their blood, sweat, and tears went into getting the shop ready, and finally, by December 2015, they were prepared for the shop to open!  They have both been able to help people in the community, pray for those who are struggling, and even though they are not perfect they try their hardest to encourage those around them and have the best popcorn around, and they haven't stopped poppin' since!

 

In 2016, Pop Around The Corner was awarded Best New Businesses in Downtown and 2017 recognized as Downtowners of the Year. Derrick & Emily Roberts praise God for the success of their business and look forward to what's to come.
